New Year's Resolutions!

Yes, I have yet again made some resolutions for the new year. I usually make some every year and I usually fail them! But this year I really want to make an effort to keep them. I do say that every year though..... Because I usually fail at keeping my resolutions I have picked some this year that I think will be easier to keep. Not the usual "get fit" or "save more money" which are quite hard to keep because the motivation just usually isn't there and they are quite unspecific. So this year I have gone for quite specific resolutions and some that I feel I am more motivated to keep, just because I'm interested in them! So here goes... Do more DIY! I have an ever growing Pinterest DIY board full of fun and great ideas, but I just never seem to sit down and do them. I hope that having this blog where I can share my progress will help me in being motivated to tick some pins off my board. Take up yoga or pilates. This is a more specific version of the "

Review: Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

Well, I ended up picking Fangirl for my first review here. And I am glad I did, because I liked it, but not so much that I have nothing to say about it. This review will contain some spoilers, so beware!! I gave the book 3½ stars on Goodreads, and I must say, from everything I have heard about this book, I honestly expected to like it better. But it just felt like that part of the story got clouded by the many other story lines going on, like the dad and the mom, who each had separate st

Black Friday Unboxing Book Haul!

So Black Friday happened...And I got swept up in it! My favourite web bookshop had 20% off EVERYTHING and I went a little crazy! The box actually arrived a week ago, but I have been so busy, and I didn't want to unbox it until I had time to do a post about it. And the time has finally come! I had actually forgotten most of the books I ordered, so this was almost like Christmas.  I ordered 8 books and pretty much all of them are some that I have seen Booktubers on Youtube talk about recently, so I am quite excited to start reading them. I have only recently started buying books I haven't read before. I used to use the library a lot, but that meant waiting a long time for new books to become available, especially if they were popular and there was a waitlist. But as I grow older, I grow more impatient, and now purchase books on a regular basis. So let's begin with the books! First off is "A Monster Calls" by Patrick Ness, illustrated by Jim Kay.   I
