Finished/Unfinished Book Series
This post is all about the series I have finished and the ones I for some reason have not finished. Now for the unfinished ones, there are definitely a few that I plan to finish, but definitely also a lot that I do not plan to continue. I have given a super short mini-review for each series (like, two words) to show why I did or did nor finish it.
For this post I was again inspired by Youtube, specifically this video by Bookables:

I had a good look around my shelves and since I (in my opinion) don't actually own many books, there were not a lot of series on show. So I figured that this would be a short and sweet post that wouldn't take long to put together. Oh, was I wrong! Just be sure I had a look at my Goodreads "Read" shelf and wow...There are a lot of series. And a lot of books I didn't realize were part of a series...Don't you just hate when that happens? But any way, here is the list in no particular order of preference:
Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling (Loved it!)
Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien (Loved it!)
Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick (Hated it! Don't know why I bothered to finish it...)
His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman (Loved it!)

Ruby Oliver by E. Lockhart (Read the first one, thought it was okay, but a bit too "young" for me)
The Hungry City Chronicles by Philip Reeve (Read the first one, it was okay)
Contours of the Heart by Tammara Webber (Read the first one and LOVED it, didn't realize it was a series...)
The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater (Really like it and I plan to finish it as soon as possible)
The Serpentwar Saga by Raymond E. Feist (Can't really remember what it was about, so I don't plan to finish this)

Seraphina by Rachel Hartman (Just never picked up the sequel)
Jack Howard Series by David Gibbins (Read the second one, it was okay)
Adrian Mayfield Series by Floortje Zwightman (Really liked the first one, but had trouble finding the next ones in a language I know)
Cities of the Interior by Anais Nin (Again I don't think I realized this was a series)

The Henry Family by Herman Wouk (The same as with the Century Trilogy above)

Catch 22 by Joseph Heller (Didn't realize it was a series...that happens to me quite a lot apparently!)
Oz by L. Frank Baum (As above...)
The Border Trilogy by Cormac McCarthy (I read the first one and seem to remember it wasn't really my preferred style of book but it had its moments)
Heidi by Johanna Spyri (The first book was my favorite when I was a child, guess I once again failed to realize there was more than one book...)
The Notebook Series by Nicholas Sparks (Didn't really like the Notebook)
The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini (I have no memory of this book...)
Bridget Jones by Helen Fielding (Enjoyed the first one, but probably won't pick up the others)
Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella (As above)
Little Women by Louisa May Alcott (Just never felt the need to read the second one)
The Devil Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger (Didn't like the first one that much)
Well, I think that was it! Finally! By my count that is 21 finished series and 45 unfinished ones. I am looking to move a few from "Unfinished" to "Finished", but I think 21 is a number I can be proud of. Especially since I thought it would have been way fewer before looking at my Goodreads shelf!
