Slay That Series TBR

I’ve decided to participate in my first read-a-thon! I’m quite excited! On Youtube I’m subscribed to this really cool girl called Sara from SarawithoutanH (Check her out!) and she is hosting a read-a-thon along with another youtuber called Chami from ReadLikeWildFire.

When Sara presented this TBR I knew it was right up my alley. It’s all about finishing series you’ve started, but haven’t quite gotten around to finishing for some reason or other. The dates are September 27th to October 4th, both days included (which is actually 8 days!). Check out the announcement video here:

There are no challenges to this read-a-thon, and that really appeals to me. I’ve never done a read-a-thon before, and this one seems like an easy one to get started. The only rule is pretty much to just read books in series you haven’t finished (or maybe starting a new series, if you are all caught up).

My TBR:

My TBR for this read-a-thon will consist of one book. One…just one! I like to think of myself as an avid reader, but with a full time job and a house to run (even if I do live alone…) I sometimes struggle to read as much as I would like. Hence the one book TBR! And that one book is: *drumroll* “Blue Lily, Lily Blue” by Maggie Stiefvater. This is the third book of a series (which is apparently NOT a trilogy…??) called “The Raven Cycle” (I think…). The first two books are “The Raven Boys” and “The Dream Thieves” and I really like this series, even though I apparently take forever to read it! I have had “Blue Lily, Lily Blue” sitting on my shelf for a good long while now, and when this read-a-thon came along I decided it was perfect timing. I’ll get this book read, AND I will do my first read-a-thon!
