Book Haul!!

I bought a bunch of books! Actually I bought them a really long time ago, I just haven't had time to sit down and haul them yet. But now I do, so here they are:

Me and Earl and the Dying Girl by Jesse Andrews

This book has gotten so many rave reviews on Youtube, that I thought I had to see what the fuss was about. As stated on the cover it is also now a "major motion picture", and that is usually a sign of quality content. Seeing as these books came in the mail quite a while ago, I have already read this one, and I must say I did not see what the hype was about. A more detailed review will be up soon.

We Were Liars by e. lockhart

I have also already read this book. And this one was also really hyped on Youtube, but for once I think the hype was true. This book was really amazing, and I absolutely loved it! Again, a more detailed review will be up soon.

The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery

I know absolutely nothing about this book other than it is set in Paris. I bought this book to be part of my "My Travels in Books" series. Reading the back of the book it is about a concierge in a Parisian apartment building and the inhabitants of said building. I look forward to reading this, as these types of stories, with a multitude of characters placed in one building or the like, is usually really fun and interesting.

Since You've Been Gone by Morgan Matson

I don't really know too much about this book. It was floating around Youtube for a little while, and then it sort of disappeared. But not until it had intrigued me so much, that I decided to buy it. It is about a girl named Emily whose best friend goes missing, leaving behind only a to-do list. Emily decides to complete the list in the hopes that it will bring her friend back, even though the tasks are quite un-Emily-like. This sounds like a fun read, albeit it has a darker undertone with the missing friend.

The Reece Malcolm List by Amy Spalding

As with the previous book this one also floated around Youtube for a bit before disappearing. It is about a girl, whose father dies, and she is then shipped off to live with her mother, whom she has never met. The blurb on the back doesn't really give away too much, but it sounds like a fun read.

Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson

I already read this book too, and I really liked it, even though it was not AS good as I had hoped, based on all the hype. A more detailed review will be up soon.

To All the Boys I Loved Before by Jenny Han

I read this one too, but decided not to do a full review, as I don't really have too much to say about it. It is a fun, light read, and I really enjoyed it, although the ending was a little unfulfilled for me. I would have liked to see it developed a bit more. But there is a sequel called P.S. I Still Love You, so maybe that will do the trick for me.

The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness

This is the first book of the Chaos Walking trilogy by Patrick Ness. I've heard so much hype about Patrick Ness' writing that I have been meaning to read some of his work for a while. I read A Monster Calls a while ago, but I don't think that really counts as a Patrick Ness novel as such. So this one will be the first one I read, and I am quite excited. I only hope that it will live up to the hype...

Blue Lily, Lily Blue by Maggie Stiefvater

This is the third (and last??) book in The Raven Cycle, the other two being The Raven Boys and The Dream Thieves. I can't really figure out if this is a trilogy, or if we should expect more books. I guess I will just have to read it and see how it ends. I might have to reread the other two books in the series, as it has been a while...For some reason I always forgot to buy this book, when I was shopping, but now I finally remembered and it's here! And I'm excited for it!!
